Angelica Otiti is an educator and instructional leader who believes that every student deserves to be seen, challenged, and supported. Over the past eleven years, she has served in multiple roles including Content Team Lead, Lead Teacher, Grade Team Lead, Director of Instruction, and Assistant Principal. Through each stage of her career, she has centered her work on the idea that learning happens best in spaces where curiosity, care, and high expectations coexist. As a classroom teacher, Angelica created environments that celebrated student voice, critical thinking, and identity. As a team lead, she cultivated collaboration and consistency, ensuring that teachers had the tools and confidence to meet the diverse needs of their students. As Director of Instruction, she coached educators to refine practice through data-driven instruction, culturally responsive pedagogy, and student-centered planning. In her role as Assistant Principal, Angelica guided schoolwide turnaround efforts that strengthened teaching, culture, and community. Her leadership supported measurable gains in student achievement, attendance, and engagement while fostering a sense of belonging among students and staff. She is known for her ability to build trust, inspire growth, and lead with empathy and vision. For Angelica, leadership is people work. Whether teaching, coaching, or leading a school, she believes in creating learning communities where both children and adults are valued, supported, and inspired to thrive.
